Emma Prothero

Emma is an artist and long-time Draw attendee. Emma runs our monthly tutored Online Experimental Life Drawing sessions, and also hosts the longstanding Thursday night Online Portrait Club sessions. Here's what Emma says about her work:

"Art is and always has been the central focus throughout my life, and it fills my aspirations for the future. I have an intense interest in people; their ever-changing minds, lives, and bodies - and this interest naturally bleeds into my art practice.

I stumbled across Draw Brighton at the age of 17, and was introduced to the enthralling world of life drawing, and inspiring life draw-ers. Six years on, I’ve had an amazing couple of years running Draw Brighton’s online Portrait Club - I have loved meeting and drawing so many creatives, and I can’t wait to meet more of you soon! :) “
