Preston Manor Lawn

Preston Manor Lawn is a secluded but public section of Preston Park in Brighton, our outdoor figure drawing sessions will be run on the grass here - just look out for the Draw tutor running the session and the circle of people drawing!

Coming from the South (from the Sea) direction: 

Follow the London Road side of Preston Park up to the very top and follow the main path when it bears right. Take the first left hand foot path through the trees and go past the brick shelter on the right. The entrance of the manor lawns should be just past there, behind a planter and through a small entrance, with the manor rear facing the lawns.

Coming from the North (from the Downs) direction:

Head down London Road until you see a left turn just after Costa coffee and before the Shell Station (Preston Drove). Head up this Street and turn right at Preston Manor. There is a small path that goes to the left of the manor front - follow this past the manor to reach the lawns.

Coming from the East (from Surrenden Road) direction:

Turn right from Surrenden Road and cross the road. Head down Preston Drove and the Preston Manor will be on the right near the bottom. There is a small path that goes to the left of the manor front - follow this past the manor to reach the lawns.

Getting there by car:

There is no parking at the Manor - nearest parking is at the Ride at the top of Preston Park. Nearest street parking is at Surrenden Road. Preston Manor is approximately a 15-20 min walk from Withdean Sports Centre, where there is a free car park and nearby bus routes that serve London Road.

Nearby toilets are in Preston Park (a few minutes walk) at the Chalet cafe.
